SANTA BARBARA: THE WINE DESTINATION OF THE YEAR
It’s Wine Time
Agriculturally successful, geographically diverse, undeniably beautiful: the three most important factors of an astute wine country. Known for all three, Santa Barbara County is now joining the A List, thanks to Wine Enthusiast. Not only does our favorite city carry all the beauty a relaxing vineyard-tour filled weekend requires, but the current climate is incredibly favorable to the prosperity of viticulture. From the Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, to the Cabernet Sauvignons and Bordeuxes, Santa Barbara weather is increasingly becoming beyond favorable to the grapes of all of our favorite wines.
Santa Barbara has seven AVAs, or American Viticultural Areas, in which a variety of wineries reside. From causal to formal, the tasting room experiences offered here are unlike any other, where creativity rules and hospitality is unmatched. Additionally, SB County’s boom in hotels, new restaurants, and even Michelin stars makes it an obvious choice for the perfect weekend getaway full of good food, good wine, and good company.
