Santa Barbara Equine Assistance and Evacuation
With a team of dedicated horse-loving volunteers, SB Equine Assistance helps those who own large animals ensure the safety of their pets in situations of fire or emergency. Upon notification of a disaster and the need for large-animal evacuation, the team establishes a mobile command site and prepares to transport and shelter large animals. They then deploy truck-and-trailer crews to evacuate the animals to the designated sheltering and care area. They also offer emergency preparedness training for large animal owners.

Did someone say horse therapy? Hearts Therapeutic Equestrian Center uses equine services to inspire, motivate, strengthen, and empower people of all ages and abilities.
