January 29th - Santa Barbara 5K Cancer Schlep
The Cheryl Diamond SB 5K Cancer Schlep brings together hundreds of participants of all ages from Santa Barbara and Southern California, bound together in solidarity to raise the hopes of those battling breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer.
FEBRUARY
February 12th - Super Bowl Run Goleta 2023
Get your Super Bowl Sunday started with an invigorating 5K run/walk at the Goleta Beach Park.
February 12th - Seaside Marathon Ventura
With full and half marathon options, as well as 10k and 5k, this beachfront course takes you on scenic Highway 1.
February 26th - Ventura Marathon
This run has full and half marathon options and provides “just the right amount of downhill.”
MARCH
March 8th - Santa Barbara Nine Trails
The Santa Barbara Nine Trails is a challenging course featuring steep inclines and descents packed in 35 miles.
March 19th - Changing the World 5k
This course features all flat running along the Camarillo Bike path.
APRIL
April 12-15th - Born to Run Ultra Marathons
Experience a weekend of trail running on the beautiful East Creek Ranch in Los Olivos, California. Born To Run Ultra Marathon Extravaganza will feature four days of runs: 100 miles, 50 miles, 30 miles, and 10 miles.
April 30th - Aut2Run for Autism
With six events to choose from, this event raises money for the Autism Society Ventura County's (ASVC) mission of improving the lives of all affected by Autism.
MAY
May 7th - Cal Tri Ventura
Spreading across Ventura, the Cal Tri Ventura has 14 event options and even features Olympic distance challenges.
May 13th - Miles For Moms 5K Goleta
Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital Foundation hosts this 5K Walk/Run in honor of Mother’s Day! The funds raised will benefit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, a prominent not-for-profit medical institution in our area.
May 13th - Santa Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon
This gorgeous route takes you through the Santa Ynez Valley and finishes in Solvang with a post-race wine festival!
May 17th-August 30th - Nite Moves Summer Sunset Series
Every Wednesday from May 17th through August 30th, Nite Moves SB will sponsor a run, swim, or both (aquathon) at Leadbetter Beach Park in Santa Barbara.
JUNE
June 10th - Beachfront Run Ventura
This is a fun and memorable event for the whole family, with event options ranging from a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kids Fun Run.
June 24th - Goleta Beach Half Marathon
Choose from a half marathon, 10K, 5K, or Kids’ 1-mile run at the beautiful Goleta Beach Park.
JULY
July 16th - Shoreline Marathon Ventura
The Shoreline Marathon is a beachfront course that features a half marathon, 10K, and a 5K with free beers and tacos for runners at the end!
AUGUST
August 6th - Camarillo Marathon
Located at Pleasant Valley Fields Park, this event offers multiple race options for runners of all levels.
SEPTEMBER
September 17th - Goleta Education Foundation Lemon Run
With options for competitive runners, first-timers, and even kids, this run fundraises for the Goleta Education Foundation to support the area’s students, families, and communities.
OCTOBER
October 7th - Back on the Ranch
Taking place on the Sand Creek Ranch in Los Olivos, this event challenges runners to complete as many 1.25-mile laps as possible in their allotted time.
NOVEMBER
November 5th - Santa Barbara Half Marathon & 5K
The Santa Barbara Running Association is sponsoring this half marathon to support local youth running programs that provide access to the sport. Their goal is to ensure the continuation of their vision- that is, to spread the joy of running.
November 23rd - Ventura Turkey Trot
Get a sweat on before your Thanksgiving feast with your friends and family this holiday with this 5K or Kids 1K event!
DECEMBER
December 17th - Holly Jolly Half Marathon
Located at Pleasant Valley Fields Park in Camarillo, this event has three distances to choose from. Enliven the holiday spirit by bringing a gift for the Toys For Tots Drive, and celebrate your success with a free taco at the finish line!
